"No Regrets Comedy Night" With Reboot & YALAJust before this past Rosh Hashanah, a group of young Jewish professionals got together for the “No Regrets Comedy Night” at the ACME Comedy theater on La Brea Avenue, near Melrose ave. The event was sponsored by Reboot and the Young Adults of Los Angeles (YALA) - The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’ young adult group, and gave a forum for young Jewish Angelino’s to speak about what Rosh Hashanah meant for them, from a more secular and practical standpoint. I had a great time doing the shoot for the event. Some highlights from the shoot were Dov Rosenblatt on the guitar, and some great speakers. I really enjoyed Laura’s “No Regret” story. Laura Krafft told us about the time that she decided not heed a police officer who wanted to pull her over. Driving her dad's Porsche, Laura went on to weave her way, in and out of Downtown LA traffic, then pulled into a garage where she slammed the garage door shut and hid for a half hour, until the coast was clear.
