Hi, I am Jonah.
Born and raised here in Southern California, I am a wedding, life events, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, editorial, marketing and advertising photographer.
My focus is meaningful life events, happy couples and children of all ages.
My work also includes corporate head shots, non-profit gala dinners and family portraits. Along with my team, I offer a wide variety of photographic as well as videographic services.
I put my heart and my soul into every shoot. With a strong belief that good communication is key, I pride myself in listening to what my clients want. I'm detail oriented and take pride in my craft, creating images that are bold, beautiful and believable.
My greatest strength is my ability to make people feel relaxed and confident in front of my lens. I’m consistently told that I am "the easiest, friendliest, most professional photographer” they have ever worked with. My favorite part of shooting is that it gets me the best seat in the house, and it pushes me to be constantly be in awe of the beauty in the details. I'm often the last one standing at the end of the night, but I walk away knowing that I played a key role in the event’s success, creating images that will make the moments last a lifetime.
I was born and raised in Mar Vista, California. I graduated from UCSB in 1996, spent a year at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, then graduated Pasadena's Art Center College of Design in 2001 and I haven't put my camera down since. I live with my beautiful wife and our four delicious boys in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood of West Los Angeles.
And yes, my last name really is "Light".
